Shasta Daisy Banana Cream
is our favorite new perennial for 2010. Introduced by the very talented
breeder's of Walters Gardens who said they knew they had something
a special when they cut a bouquet of the lemon yellow flowers for
a bouquet and two weeks later the flowers looked as fresh as the
day they where cut.
The flowers are lemon yellow when they first open,
brighten to a buttery yellow and then mature to a creamy white.
Blooms have an extra row of petals giving them a fuller look than
most other varieties. Plants are very heavy bloomers with nice compact
dark green foliage. Great in the landscape as well as planted in
containers.
