Vivid tangerine orange flowers measuring almost 5 inches across. Blooms are fully double with dainty fringed petals and are a real visual treat in late spring.  Prince of Orange is one of the finest orange poppies available. Plants grow about 3 feet tall and quickly establish colonies by self-seeding.  Very nice and highly recommended.

Poppy 'Prince of Orange'

Plant in full sun and provide a rich well drained soil. Take time to get the soil loose and amend with plenty of organic material.   Fertilize in early spring with a top dressing of compost and bone meal.  Oriental Poppies are easy to grow and will thrive for years with little to no attention from the gardener.
