By far our most popular variety of Liriope.
This variety is grows a bit shorter than the others reaching only about a foot tall.
The arching grass like leaves are striped with a light yellow to cream stripe along
the edges. Probably one of the best choices for a care-free attractive ground cover.
Purple flowers are followed by very dark purple, almost black, berries. The only
thing you will ever have to do to this wonderful plant is cut back old foliage in the
spring.
Liriope 'variegated'
Very easy to grow perennial - Plants will grow in either sun or shade, but
will flower better in full sun. Liriope is not finicky about soil types but for best
results provide a rich soil that has been
properly amended with organic materials such as compost and manure.
