Absolutely the heaviest flowering Lamium we have ever seen.  Purple Dragon is a new introduction and boasts some very nice improvements.  These plants are considered to be more drought tolerant than other Lamiums which offers the gardener more choices when selecting a growing site.   Purple Dragon is evergreen in mild climates.  Flowers are larger and a dark purple. The bloom color contrasts very nicely with the silvery foliage.   Very nice!

Plants grow best in shady areas in a good garden soil that has been amended well with organic materials. Soil should remain consistently moist but drain well.   Plants that are allowed to suffer through dry spells or are growing in dry soils tend to die out in the middle.  Mulching will help the soil conserve moisture.
