Green Spice

that almost glow. Leaves are edged in green with beet-red
veins with a silver overlays. The coloration is most intense in
cooler months and Green Spice will hold its color better if provided
with some afternoon shade. Cream flowers emerge on 20 inch scapes
in late spring - although this particular variety is not grown for
its flowering. Fall colors are just as breath taking with foliage
turning beautiful shades of red and orange. Plants prefer a well
drained, but moist, soil that has been amended with plenty of organic
matter.
