Very popular Geranium with our Customers for
the past 3 years. Vibrant one inch double blooms on compact 12 inch high plants that will
spread to about 20 inches. Flowers first start to appear in June and with deadheading,
Birch's Double will stay in bloom through much of August. As the air tuns cooler in fall
the foliage turns a nice red-bronze color. Plants will grow in either full sun or
partial shade but if planting in full sun provide a good mulch to prevent the soil from
drying out. Geraniums prefer a good rich soil that is moist but well drained. Plants
should be sheared back after initial flowering in order to promote the second wave of
blooms.
