Beautiful, gigantic flower spikes,
giant being the key word. Giant Shirley is perfectly named as her flowers are nearly
twice the size of other Foxgloves. This selection is a mixture of white, light pink, deep
rose, fuchsia and yellow all with dark purple freckles inside each bloom. Giant Shirley
starts blooming in mid April and continues through mid June. Very easy to grow and will
self seed freely in the garden providing you with blooms year after year. Blooms on
Giant Shirley are so big and heavy that staking is often required. Plants prefer filtered
sun and will hold their color much better if sheltered from hot afternoon sun.
