Vibrant purple-blue upward facing flowers appear in dense clusters creating a doubled
look. The stems are stiff and erect making Supera a very nice cut flower. Blooming
begins in late June and contuse through most of August. To prolong blooming and promote
stocky growth, cut back hard after the plants have finished flowering. Plants will grow in
either full sun or partial shade with a soil that is neutral to slightly alkaline. To
achieve this pH you may need to add some lime to your soil. Campanula 'Superba' is a
vigorous grower and will require division every 2 - 3 years.
