An excellent improvement upon the
Campanula species. Blue clips is a very compact plant growing only 8 inches tall - but
don't let it's size fool you. This plant blooms its little head off through July and
August with repeated blooming spurts right up until the first frost. The three inch
violet-blue flowers are cup shaped and face upwards. Dark green foliage forms a tuft or
rounded clump making this Campanula a perfect choice for edging along the front of the
perennial border or planted between rocks. Grow in moist but well drained soil that
is rich in organic matter. Campanula 'Blue Clips' prefers full sun but will
do fine in light shade.
