A true pink and a very strong grower. Pink
Delight is a little less fragrant than the other varieties we offer but still lures in
butterflies and hummingbirds. The flower panicles are enormous, measuring almost a
foot long. Stunning pink flowers begin to appear in early June and continue right up until
the first frost. Foliage is silvery-grey during the cooler times of the
growing season (spring and fall). Buddleia 'Pink Delight has a compact, rounded habit
growing to about 5 feet wide and around 6 feet tall. The plant can be pruned to
control size and as with all Buddleias a hard pruning in late autumn will
provide you with larger flowers the next year. Plant in full sun (at least 8 hours of
bright sunshine) and fertilize in early spring with a top dressing of blood and bone
meals. Buddleia 'Pink Delight' is very easy to grow, and is not finicky about soil
types.
