Buttery yellow blossoms combined with the sweet
smell of honey make this butterfly bush one of our favorites. Blossoms are two tones
of yellow and open in stages creating a pom-pom appearance to the panicle. Honeycomb
begins blooming in June and continues producing gorgeous yellow flowers until the first
frost. The fragrance is strong and sweet which draws butterflies in for a daily
nectar feast. All Buddleias are easy to grow - just make sure you plant them in full
sun. A very strong grower, Honeycomb can reach heights of up to 12 feet if left unpruned.
We recommend that you hard prune the plant back to 12" in late fall.
With hard pruning and occasional selective pruning you can easily keep this golden beauty
within its bounds.
