		<description>Thanks for your reply and the added info.  Timers do have an economic advantage and if someone wants to get into propagation but finds the Mist-a-Matic a little pricey -- timers are very good alternative.  Thanks again.</description>

I use a digital timer and have no experience with the Mist-a-matic, but do not find my timer aggravating at all. I set the timer and forget it. My setup is outdoors and I have added a bit of shade and have great success with perennials and woody ornamentals.

One of the biggest reasons for not using the Mist-a-matic for me is the price. My timer only cost me $85.00.

Oh, a tip for rooting Sedum: Try using peat/perlite mix with a little of that water absorbing gel added. Get it moist, stick the cuttings, and place in a shaded area. The gel will keep the moisture in the rooting media and you don&#039;t have to mess with it at all.</description>
