Hostas prefer partial to full shade and a good rich garden soil that is moist but well drained. Moisture plays a crucial role in growing beautiful Hosta plants - you will need to water plants during prolonged dry spells. Feed in very early spring with a top dressing of composted manure and bone meal. Liquid feed at least twice during the growing season with seaweed extract or fish emulsion. A sport of the very popular Hosta 'June'
this compact beauty emerges from the ground in early spring with
narrow leaves that have a golden yellow center and wide powdery
blue margins. The yellow centers grow larger and turn to white as
the summer progresses. Plants are small growing to only about 8
inches tall and 15 inches wide making them perfect for tucking in
between other Hostas. High Society will bring a touch of class to
any garden.
