Hostas prefer partial to full shade and a good rich garden soil that is moist but well drained. Moisture plays a crucial role in growing beautiful Hosta plants - you will need to water plants during prolonged dry spells. Feed in very early spring with a top dressing of composted manure and bone meal. Liquid feed at least twice during the growing season with seaweed extract or fish emulsion. scald, the green edges are twice as wide, and the flowers are double the size. Each
an every leaf is highlighted with a creamy white center bordered with deep green margins.
The creamy white centers hold their color all season. Plants have good substance
which helps them fight off the only known enemy to Hostas - slugs.
